Best Cappuccino Machine

Have you ever woken up in the morning and just needed that fresh smell of coffee in order to function? Well, I do every single day and after years of trying various cappuccino machines I have put together a concise list of what I believe to be the best cappuccino machines currently on the market. Many people have been left confused by dazzling descriptions of cappuccino machine reviews on various websites, leaflets and friend referrals. Not knowing whether certain elements of the machines are relevant to their busy lives, people can read through hundreds of reviews searching for the right machine. Here, I hope to give a succinct, thorough but clear idea of which cappuccino makers might suit certain homes.

Cappuccino Espresso Machine

Espresso cappuccino makers can give you the quick shot of caffeine needed to start the day with a clear, fresh mind. Having the flexibility to create the cappuccino you want may be something that needs to be decided before spending the money. I, for instance, enjoy the quick and easy method in the morning in order to get on with my day. Therefore, an automatic cappuccino machine suits me when I need that drink but can quickly sort out jobs while brewing a cup.

DeLonghi America ReviewDelonghi_America

One of the easiest and simplest machines out there for this purpose is the DeLonghi America EDG305BG EX:1. The machine stands at just twelve inches tall and nine inches in depth, making this one of the smallest and most compact coffee machines out there. The DeLonghi America is also one of the simplest machines out there, using pre-made coffee pods that you simply slide into the mechanism before switching on. Its compact design makes it highly accessible to anyone in a family home that may not have the space needed for a giant coffee maker. The pods that are inserted into the machine come in many different forms including espresso. I, personally, love a strong espresso in the morning and with this machine I can choose how much water I want in my drink, meaning I can choose a stronger or weaker choice based on how I feel.
As one of the cheaper items on the market, this is also an ideal machine for those on a budget, coming up at just over $100. For an espresso cappuccino, this machine can be an ideal choice, however I have created a simple list for my overall likes and dislikes.

DeLonghi Perfecta ReviewDelonghi_perfecta

On the opposite end of the price spectrum is still a DeLonghi but this time the ESAM5500B Perfecta is for those that want the true barista like experience. This espresso maker looks like it belongs in a high street coffee shop or a modern home kitchen. It has an elegant design with easy to use digital controls and a rotary dial. I love this machine purely for its ease of use and the five coffee-strength settings it boasts. Therefore, some mornings when I need the strong espresso boost, it is there waiting for me. The ESAM5500B grinds beans instantly for the freshest of espresso tastes. Nothing quite beats waiting the few moments for the smells of espresso to emanate and entice the senses. The Perfecta is more expensive than the previous DeLonghi model, coming up at nearly $900. However, for those wanting the professional taste of an espresso in the morning, or those that have the time to perfect their drink, this is the machine for you.

Automatic Cappuccino Machines

Whether you enjoy the fresh smell of bean grinding or the feel of creating a coffee masterpiece, no-one can deny the pull for a quick and easy way of getting caffeine at any time of the day. This is why there has been an influx of automatic machines ready to create a steaming hot drink in a matter of moments.
This is where the DeLonghi America makes a reappearance as the cheapest and easiest machine to get that fix in the morning. The pods, which create various cappuccinos and other drinks, are a simple method which can create a drink while you fix your cereal or read the paper. The price may put people off as a pack of Cappuccino pods costs roughly $24 for twenty-four servings. However, when you put this against buying a cup at a coffee chain, the price doesn’t seem so high.

Nespresso D121-US4-BK-NE1 ReviewNespresso_aeroccino

If you want the ease of an automatic machine yet desire the full bodied flavor of other machines, the Nespresso D121-US4-BK-NE1 may be the ticket for you. Again, this is a cappuccino espresso machine which requires pods in order to create your drinks. At just over $200 the Nespresso is slightly more expensive than the DeLonghi America, but the emptier wallet guarantees a better tasting cappuccino each time. With a fast heating time of twenty-five seconds, your drinks can be made within one minute. I have tried this cappuccino coffee machine on several occasions, each time finding that my drink had been completed before I could even get my cereal ready. What I also love about this automatic machine is the integrated milk frother which makes each cappuccino, or even iced cappuccino, creamier and more delicious than other coffee makers. My only disappointment with the Nespresso is the overall look in my kitchen. Less compact than the America, it also looks less impressive than the Perfecta. For the money I spend I expected the sleek and modern look of the Perfecta, yet with this machine it feels rather substandard.

Best Home Cappuccino Machines

I have talked about automatic coffee machines, espresso makers and given a few examples of which ones I think are the best in the market right one. The last machine I’d like to discuss might be considered one of the best home cappuccino machines for its all-around value.

Keurig Rivo Cappuccino System ReviewKeurig_Rivo

The Keurig Rivo Cappuccino and Latte System sits just below the Perfecta in the cool looking factor. Once more, a home cappuccino maker looks like it belongs in a high end shop. With the ability to brew the coffee on one side while frothing the milk on the other, this machine oozes professional quality coffee with every cup. A pod machine with fifteen bars of pressure, this allows each cup to be made in as little as a minute. At a slightly smaller size than most professional machines, eleven by eleven inches, the Keurig Rivo allows any home owner to fit this into their kitchen. Looking glossy with black and silver styling, the Keurig not only looks the part but brews a mean cappuccino that will leave anyone impressed. What will this machine put you back? Just over $120, for a professional looking cappuccino machine with great taste, this price is nothing to sniff at.

Conclusion

I have talked about various machines, their pros and cons and what kitchens they may suit. Overall the choice is down to the cappuccino and coffee drinker in what particular machine you want to invest in. If ease of use and price is what matters to you, the DeLonghi America may be the machine for you. For a more professional and tastier brew in the morning, the DeLonghi Perfecta will suit you, as long as you have the money to spend. The Nespresso and Keurig are both excellent automatic cappuccino espresso machines that are middle of the road for ease, taste and price.
I have spent years drinking cappuccinos, coffees, lattes and other drinks. The ease and speed of some cappuccino coffee makers have made my life and mornings much more pleasant. No matter which machine you choose, I wish you the best.
